Christian counselors view human beings as wonderfully complex biological, psychological, relational, and spiritual beings made in the image of God.
The practice of Christian Counseling entails the application of mental health, psychological, or human development principles, through cognitive, affective, behavioral or systematic intervention strategies, that address wellness, personal growth, or career development, as well as psychopathology. Biblical truths and spiritual practices to produce “Christ-like” character, behavior, and contentment in the lives of the people and systems served are integrated into this process.
