Chuck Babler - White Pines Campus Pastor Chuck_Babler

Brief Bio: In 1987 Chuck left Economy Fire & Casualty where he had been employed for 17 years as a Programming Manager in Data Processing to answer a call to missions.  For a little over a year and a half Chuck served on the Crossroads staff as the Church and School Administrator.  Then in the fall of 1989 Chuck & his wife Ruth sold everything and left Freeport, IL for training and served in Kenya, Africa for ten years.  Chuck & Ruth returned at Christmas of 2002 with their three adopted Kenyan children to take up residence in Mt. Morris, IL to care for Chuck’s aging mother who was then 89.  In 2004 when Crossroads was preparing to launch the first video campus in Polo, IL, Chuck asked to shift from his role as Director of Operations for Crossroads to assume the position of Campus Pastor.  Ruth came along side to volunteer as the campus Kidzlink champion and more.  In addition to the three children at home they also have three married children and seven grand children who are incredible.
