Our Beliefs
-
The Holy Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and free from error.
2 Timothy 3:16
2 Peter 1:20-21
Proverbs 30:5
Romans 16:25-26
-
The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM”, and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, i.e., as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4
Mark 12:29
Isaiah 43:10-12
Matthew 28:19

-
Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us make man in Our image after Our likeness”. But man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Genesis 1:26-31, 3:17
Romans 5:12-21
-
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. The Holy Spirit dwells in the believer at the point of salvation. (Acts 2:38, Ephesians 1:13)
The Evidence of Salvation:
The inward assurance of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.(Romans 8:16, Ephesians 4:24, Titus 2:12)
Conditions of Salvation:
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the promise of eternal life.(Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 8:16, 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 2:11, 3:5-7)
-
1) Baptism in Water
The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness in life.
Matthew 28:19
Mark 16:16
Acts 10:47-48
Romans 6:4
2) Holy Communion
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ; a memorial of His suffering and death; and is enjoyed by all believers “until He comes!”
(2 Peter 1:4, 1 Corinthians 11:26)
-
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power to witness, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct from and occurring after the experience of the new birth. With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit, a deepened reverence for God, an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work, and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost.

Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God. (Romans 12:1,2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:12) The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness without which no man shall see the Lord”. (Hebrews 12:14) By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “You shall be holy, for I am Holy”. (1 Peter 1:15-16)
Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, by faith continually relying on the truth of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 6:1-11,13; 8:1,2,13; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12,13; 1 Peter 1:5)
-
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22
Hebrews 12:23
John 17:11, 20-23
-
Our Lord has provided a divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry for the four-fold purpose leading the church in:
1. The Worship of God (John 4:23-24)
2. The evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20)
3. Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
4. Meeting human need with ministries of love and compassion. (Psalm 112:9, Galatians 2:10, 6:10, James 1:27)
-
Healing of the body by divine power is an integral part of the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers.

Matthew 8:16,17
Mark 16:18

-
Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom and reign for one thousand years bringing an end to injustice and restoring all things to God’s original intent. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17;
II Thessalonians 1:7-8

-
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Those whose name is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Matthew 25:46

-
We, “according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells”.

We believe marriage is the monogamous, heterosexual covenant union ordained by God (Genesis 2:18-25; Ephesians 5:22-33)
We believe God created all humans with inherent sexuality, assigned by God at conception, male or female. (Genesis 2:18-25)
We believe that any form of sexual immorality such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, and incest are sinful and offensive to God. (Romans 1:23-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-6)
-
We believe that scripture overwhelmingly and conclusively affirms that life begins at conception and that God calls, anoints, makes plans, and has a destiny for the unborn while they are still in the womb and that taking an unborn baby’s life would destroy the destinies of men and women who are created in the very image of God. We believe that only God has the power to give life and the authority to end it. It may be “our body,” but that does not give us the right to terminate the life being stewarded during pregnancy. That baby belongs to the Lord. This is the biblical position and reality.
We also believe that the Church is called to protect and value the elderly, the disabled, and the marginalized of society, as all people are created in the image of God.
We also oppose euthanasia, as all life is sacred before God and not to be ended by man,
(Psalm 139:13, 16; Jeremiah 1:5; Galatians 1:15; Luke 1:41-44; Judges 13:7)
-
We maintain that the church exists to be a place of healing and hope. We offer grace and support and an open welcome for those who are struggling with previous or current marriage or sexual sin and those who have remorsefully made or have been impacted by a decision to terminate a pregnancy.
