Crave Camp 2025
Crave Camp is an incredible 5-day-long experience at a new location - Rock River Christian Camp in Polo, IL. From outdoor activities like paintball, high ropes, and swimming, to laughing and making memories with your small group, there is something for everyone! During camp, your student(s) will eat great, sleep comfortably, meet new friends, create lifelong memories, and experience summer break in a whole new way as they learn, discover, or try something new. The best part of summer camp is getting away from all of the noise and encountering the presence of God! Get ready for a new place and new life change!
The Camp Experience

Students who are in 6th-12th grade during the 2024-2025 school year.

Camp Pricing: $225 (includes free t-shirt)
$50 deposit (non-refundable) due at time of registration, and full amount due when registration closes on June 9th
Registration Ends June 9th!
Camp Price Includes: Lodging, meals, camp t-shirt, and basic camp recreation.
Students will be staying in dorm style rooms with adult Crave leaders and other students in their same age group. Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are served in the camp cafeteria.
For an additional cost, the camp café will also be open during free time, offering snacks and drinks for purchase.

We will be bringing along a nurse to Summer Camp with us. This person will be in charge of holding onto and distributing medication to students. When you come to drop your student off at camp, medications will be turned in to the nurse, and you will fill out a form with the types of medication being taken, how much, and how often the meds will need to be taken. The nurse will be around all week to assist students in making sure their meds are being taken when and how they are supposed to be.

CHECK-IN
Due to Crave Camp being hosted at a closer location this year, Crave will not be providing transportation to and from camp. You will be responsible for getting your child to camp (unless your campus Crave champion arranges transportation for your campus). Camp is located at Rock River Christian Camp in Polo, Illinois. Please drop your student off at Rock River between 9:00am and 10:00am on Saturday, June 28th. Check in will close at 10:00am and camp will officially begin. Please bring all luggage with you at this time and have students eat breakfast before they arrive.
PICKUP
Students can be picked up at Rock River Christian Camp between 11:30am and 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 2nd. Lunch is not provided this day, but they will have had breakfast.

PHONE POLICY
This year, we want to make sure camp is a time for real connections, deep faith, and unforgettable moments. To help with this, we are making some changes to our phone policy.
We know that phones help capture memories, but they can also be a big distraction from the incredible things God is doing. After consideration, we’ve decided to only allow phones during free times/certain times we will designate so that campers can fully experience camp without interruptions. We will have students turn their phones into us, and then will return them during certain times at camp.
📸 Don’t worry! We’ll have leaders capturing photos so no memories are lost. Parents will have access to emergency contacts, and there will be a way for campers to contact home if needed. If you'd prefer to not send your child with their phone, they will not need it!
We believe this change will help campers grow deeper in their faith and build stronger friendships. Thank you for your support as we create the best possible camp experience!

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP:
All students should be dropped off and picked up directly at Rock River Christian Camp (16486 IL-64) in Polo, IL — not at your local campus (unless you've already been told otherwise by your campus leader).
Drop-Off:
Saturday, June 28th between 9:00 AM–10:00 AM
Please eat breakfast before arriving — we won’t be serving food that morning.
We encourage parents to drop off students instead of having them drive themselves. If a student does drive, we’ll collect their keys and keep them safe for the week.
Pick-Up:
Wednesday, July 2nd between 11:30 AM–12:30 PMLunch will not be provided that day.
UPON ARRIVAL, THERE WILL BE SIGNS FOR YOU TO FOLLOW. PLEASE DON'T ALL COME RIGHT BEFORE 10AM SO WE CAN AVOID A TRAFFIC JAM. :)
MEDICATION DROP-OFF:
If your child takes prescription meds, bring them to the med station at drop-off. We’ll have a form with their info to match everything up. Please put all medications in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name, and keep all meds in their original containers.
We’ll have a full-time registered nurse at camp. Common over-the-counter meds like Ibuprofen, Tylenol, and Tums are already available — no need to pack those.
If your child has additional meds that you did not list on your child's online registration, please bring them to camp and turn them into the nurse.
PACKING LIST & PHONE POLICY:
Check out our website above for a full packing list, our cell-phone policy and a list of what color team your child is on! Scroll to "what to bring". Don't forget your Bible & notebook, twin sized bedding (or sleeping bag), towels for shower and swimming, suncreen, bug spray, and shower shoes (there are shared showers). There is no AC in the rooms, but there are 2-3 box fans in each cabin.
If you want to send your student with spending money, it will be CASH ONLY for the snack bar ($1-$3 per item) and merchandise ($10-$40 for Crave merch and Rock River Christian Camp Merch)
COLOR TEAMS:
Your student has been assigned a color team (SEE ABOVE) (like red, blue, or green) for games and challenges throughout the week. These teams help build unity, fun, and camp spirit! You can help your child pack a few items in their team’s color—like a t-shirt, socks, hat, face paint, bandana, or fun accessories. You can go as crazy as you want and the crazier the better! You can find your child's color team assignment at the bottom of the page on our camp website!
FUN DAYS:
On Monday night after service, we’re having a Hoedown Throwdown—a fun night with dancing and a bonfire! Feel free to bring some western or country-themed clothes if you’d like. No pressure—just come ready to have a good time!
On Tuesday night, some students like to "dress up" a little more for service—think something nicer than shorts and a t-shirt. It's totally optional, just a fun way to add to the night! Think - Sunday church service - fit.

Join us in prayer that each student would encounter the Holy Spirit at camp and be marked by His spirit forever! Pray that each student would take intentional time to meet with Jesus and open their Bible. That what happens at camp would be a spark that would ignite a faith that is strong inside of them. We would also appreciate your prayers for safety & rest for each student and leader, and wisdom, strength, and discernment for our pastors and leaders.
